Color Ray is the moniker of progressive and deep house producer and DJ, Shrinivas Sundar aka Vas. With a background in music stretching back to the age of 15, Color Ray is a true artist with a propensity for songwriting and innovative production concepts. While handling guitar duties in the early half of the last decade, Shrinivas was the fundamental force behind the musical direction of diverse homegrown bands like Depths of Suffering, Nemesis, and Blackhole Theory. After discovering and revisiting electronic dance music inspirations like Hernan Cattaneo, John Digweed & Cid Inc, he honed his focus towards a new and fresh musical style that gave birth to this alias. 

Color Ray’s music is unique & experimental, combining sounds from deep house, tech house, tribal tech, progressive house, soulful house and techno. The harmony, contemplative moods and sounds are inspired from the guitar reverberations echoing in his mind, which laid the foundations for his tunes. This combined with a natural talent for music production has paved the way for cutting-edge and standout tracks. 

His high profile remixes for Andre Sobota’s “Fragments” (Particles), Tanseer’s “Both Sides” (Juicebox Music), Biologik’s “Sarin” (Particles) & his collaborative remix of Ziger’s “Razor” (Juicebox Music) with Praveen Achary earned him numerous accolades amongst fellow DJs & Producers as well as on Beatport & media outlets. Color Ray has firmly established himself as one of the most forward-thinking producers and DJs from India, with support from across the scene from international artists like Hernan Cattaneo, Sahar Z, Sasha Le Monnier, Kobana, Marcelo Vasami and renowned Indian artists like Vinayak^A, Praveen Achary and Vipul Angirish, to name a few. 

Having launched his own show “Prism” on one of the world’s leading internet radio stations - Proton Radio, a show which takes you on a colorful journey through music with mixes not bound to any specific genre but bound to your soul, Color Ray’s ‘Prism’ mixes have been a firm favorite amongst fans. His technique transcends to on the on-ground domain where he has played in various venues across the country alongside artists like Hernan Cattaneo, Oliver Molden, Spektre, Proff, James Harcourt & many more. He was also invited to play at ADE (Amsterdam Dance Event), Europe’s biggest dance music gathering, in 2011 at the blueFROG “India meets West” night. There is no doubt that Tim Engelhardt is considered one of the scene's most talented up-and-coming electronic music stars. If you need proof just have a look at his discography: He released his first track at the age of 14, and since then he has gone on to release over 20 singles and EPs before the age of 20 (he is currently 19 years of age).

It was the music of fellow Cologne resident Robert Babicz which inspired Tim’s journey into electronic music, and in a serendipitous twist of fate the revered engineer also took Tim under his wing, further inspiring Engelhardt to continue producing. All of his productions have a big emphasis on melody, and it’s this unique melodic sense he possess which has seen labels like Innervisions, Poker Flat, Traum Schallplatten and Babiczstyle all sign Tim Engelhardt tracks.

This Balance Selections mix drops just in time for his upcoming Australian tour which includes a highly anticipated slot at Strawberry Fields festival alongside acts like Sebastian Mullaert, Andrew Weatherall, Daniel Avery, Monkey Safari, Frankey & Sandrino.... you get the idea, it's a big lineup. Originally from Stockholm but based in Barcelona, Swedish-Spanish Andrea Castells has become a force to be reckoned with in the growing club scene of the Catalan capital, and she is swiftly making a name for herself internationally as well.

Her sound is known for taking audiences on a melodic journey full of groove, often flirting with dark nuances and enveloping voices. She moves effortlessly between genres such as Indie Dance, House, Melodic House/Techno, and Progressive House.

Andrea is one of the founders of the established community and event promoter Valhalla Music, as well as its sister company Avalon, which supports emerging talents in the local scene. Valhalla Music has collaborated with clubs like Les Enfants Brillants and Chica Club and currently holds its residency at Pacha Barcelona.

Andrea Castells' talent has resonated in iconic clubs such as Cova Santa in Ibiza, Pacha Barcelona, Input, Lio in Mallorca, and Birgit in Berlin, as well as at Vagalume in Tulum. She has also participated in prestigious festivals such as Brunch Electronik Festival and Goat Community in Portugal. In recent years, she has shared lineups with renowned artists like Dixon, Hernán Cattaneo, Michael Mayer, Adam Ten, WhoMadeWho, Sasha, John Digweed, and many more.
