This (self)release is inspired by George Orwell’s dystopian novel “1984”. Written about 75 years ago, it somehow anticipated many of the absurd realities we are facing in the present.

The book focuses on the impact of totalitarianism, mass surveillance, and the strict control of individuals and their behaviour within society. It also explores the use of indoctrination, specifically through a concept called “doublethink”, where individuals are required to accept two contradictory beliefs as true, even when these beliefs contradict their own memories or perception of reality.

“WAR IS PEACE”
“FREEDOM IS SLAVERY”
“IGNORANCE IS STRENGTH”

In 1984, these slogans belong to “The Party”, a political organisation that preserves its power through constant surveillance, manipulation of reality, control of information, and the suppression of independent thought.

I encourage to read the novel, think about what’s depicted in its pages and how it compares to the modern times.

Incontrôlable, épuisé de tous ces efforts inutiles, je sombre dans la haine, une haine immense qui m'emprisonne pendant bien trop longtemps, sans savoir qui je suis ni où je vais je sombre de plus en plus profondément dans une démence sans pareil.
Ravagé par ce sentiment, depuis bien trop longtemps je saccage tout ce qui m'a était chère. A présent j'en suis sûr je n'ai plus rien, plus rien qui me rattache à cette vie d'avant, je n'ai plus rien qui me rappelle le moi d'avant, plus rien.
Mais soudain, je ne comprend plus pourquoi mais je me fige, comme paralyser par une sorte de flashback sur toute cette aventure et je réalise. Finalement ce n'était pas une épreuve ni une mission, finalement maintenant je comprend, ce mystérieux personnage, ce Domatus, cette chose ou cette personne dont la musique raisonne partout où je vais. Ce Domatus en fait, c'est moi depuis le début...
