COMMUNION 3 Recording

A Story Teller with every set taking you on an intimate  journey, inviting you in her world of house and techno worship, with  soft melodies to harder pushes that keep you wanting more.   She plays a range of music, anything from deep house to techno, and her sets are crafted to fit the perfect vibe of the moment, always taking into careful consideration location and time of day.  

Andrea always had love for music. As a child she played the piano for years, and played the clarinet in school band. She ended up going to college for art, but she always painted with music in the background. Years later, she began to learn the art of DJing at a time when she felt uninspired to paint. She wanted to express her ideas and creativity, so she has decided to channel her creative energy through a different medium, music.  She quickly became obsessed, always digging, mixing and working on music related projects almost everyday.  Her determination and persistence has landed her gigs, playing at various venues around Detroit, such as Tangent Gallery and Dequindre Cut, as well as a residency at The High Dive, Hamtramck.   Follow her on Instagram (@andrea.kalajian) and Facebook, and stay updated on upcoming events!
