Night Letters - A collection of ‘audio interpretations’ of telegrams from the early 1900s. Each track is based on a portion of a real transmitted message.

Historically, telegrams were sent between a network of interconnected telegraph offices. A person visiting a local telegraph office would have their message telegraphed by morse code to another office, translated, and then delivered on a paper form. As with any form of communication, the messages could be routine, melancholy, joyous, or devastating.

The need to keep these messages short, and then reading them many decades later, provides plenty of room for imagination.

Dear listener, thanks for visiting my site. You'll find some of my Demo Songs, some of them finished, some are work in progress. Some have been recorded about 30 years ago. I then stopped recording for about 3 decades beeing busy with my job and family.  I felt there was always something missing that’s why I started recording again in the winter of 23/24. All these works are far from being perfect but come from deep inside my heart.
