Once again FREE Benne records has managed to resurrect the dead with this super rare tune from Brownschwieg$ McKenzies. As an artist he peaked in the early 2000's, and could be heard throughout the trans-danubian territory. Unfortunatly he surcomed in an anti-boating accident in the 2015. R I P big guy!

For this very special release we have managed to acquire the extremely rare recordings of B-film movie star Lanzo Romanzo and the infamous freedom fighter Benchini Mangini accompanied by the virtuos accordion player Enso Fregatzi. After a failed crooner career, Romanzo decided to join forces with fellow vocalist Benchini Mangini. Together they stormed into a turbulent career indulging in all the vices stardom has to offer. Touring the Italian country fueled by driving-pills and lust for everything italian they lived a life of extreme luxury eventually succombing to total decadency. 
Through out the last chapter of their epic journey they could barely play anymore, yet they still managed to fill up the concert halls. The crowd could be heard sobbing over the sorry sight of the duo, and people would tell each other that Romanzo and Mangini had sacrificed them self for the spirit of Italia, that they together had managed to distill the sweet nectar of the motherland through their magnificent music. 

“Sono lo spirito dell'italia! Sono martiri! Viva Magini e Romanzo!”

From there on the duo faced many troubles as their health continued to deteriorate. Facism would soon consume the country leaving no place for what was considered degenerate art under Benito mussolini’s iron fist rule. As a final blow, the only recording of Romanzo and Mangini’s album “Viva la Tradizione” was partially destroyed during the bombing of Milano.
The team of La Benne Recordo are extremely honored to have gotten the opportunity to publish this long lost piece of italian culture.
It is not with out tears that we release this true piece of art, please give it the delicate attention that it calls upon and deserves.
In these uncertain times let us celebrate Romanzo and Mangini and their relentless battle for freedom and art!

Dr. Müller - Frogs in the freezer

We are pleased to present our first tango track in collaboration with Jysk Tango Koalition (JTK).
This haunting track was recently discovered in the extensive Tango archive of JTK. It quickly sparked debate between Jutlandish tango scholars who could all but agree on the tracks origin. Even stranger events took place several months after at a European tango symposium in Dresden. After famous tango scholar Bo Bennedito gave his presentation on the recent findings of JTK, several attendes reported strange sightings all over the hotel that hosted the symposium. Juan de Dios Martinez of Conservatorio Municipal Valencia, a man ordinarily known for keeping his wits about him reported sightings of a strange man with a tiny luminescent head wandering the hotel halls at night. Raul Líma, avid tango lover also present at the symposium, claimed that his hotel room’s minibar had been raided by the same man. This testimony was quickly backed by several other attendees staying at the hotel.
And so the curious accounts continue of what has been deemed the strangest tango symposium in recent history.
We sincerely hope that we do not release any sort of spirt of the astral plane onto our listeners with the release.

It is with great pleasure that we present to you the strange duo Strahinja Tabaković x Julija Zahahahah.
For years our research team has been trying to track down Tabaković and Zahahahah. It has been a frustrating journey for sure, as if we were constantly on the verge of a break through and then in the very last moment watching the duo slip through our fingers.
Always luring us in, only to stage a magnificent escape, these Serbes truly understand the meaning of Bravura.
As a matter of fact we still haven’t uncovered their true identities but we will attempt to give a somewhat coherent explanation of what little we do know. 
Their story begins in the post-yugoslavian era of experimental-performance. The duo made their artistic presence felt through a series of otherworldly and scarcely documented fashion shows. First hand sources such a gallery director Proizvođač Cipela describes Tabaković and Zahahahah as the Bonnie and Clyde of ephemeral bridal wear, which in its heyday had quite a following in Beograd.
After a period of artistic stagnation the duo decided to apply a rigores set of reductionistic dogmas to their practice. This inward journey
culminated in a series of visions experienced by the Serbian duo under the Kirghiz light in east Kirghizistan.
The little we know about the duo’s time in Kirghizistan come from diary entries belonging to the American anthropologist Ty Slothrop who by chance met the artists and traveled with them:
"In fact, no two people have been so ill-equipped to approach a holy Center since the days of Strahinja Tabaković and Julija Zahahahah, hauling ass over the steppe [...] to find their Kirghiz Light. " - Ty Slothrop.
Little is known of what actually transpired in Kirghizistan but we can deduce that the artists started seing their practice in a new light.  Somehow arriving at the conclusion that their practice had transcended the need for a material state. The ephemeral bridal wear in its fugaciousness had transformed into a stable state of serbian turbo folk.
As previously stated the duo’s whereabouts and musical oeuvre seems to be impossible to trace, but we have finally managed to acquire this lovely club remix by Aopkhesk. We hope you will listen with the same passion that for us has been the driving force behind this release.

Strahinja Tabaković x Julija Zahahahah x Apokhesk - Kratkotrajna venčanica u kirgiškoj svetlosti

To accompany this excellent, Benne exclusive release and the official signing of Dj Fukboi, we will be publishing the first chapter of a Fukboi fan fiction written by The Learned Dog. More chapters shall follow as we continue to release Dj Fukboi on our label.

Chapter 1. The prodigal son

Eventually transcending his own corporeality into mythic ubiquiti, we will here attempt to give a comprehensive account of the prodigal son, his holy Kolding purpose and inevitable return from the ether. Little is known of the dj’s youth, but it is suggested in early scripture that he was raised in the woods in one of the few indoarakeen-amish communities found in southern Denmark. At an early age he displayed all the virtues of a true amish leader, growing a considerable beard at the age of 9, building a barn for his pet cow Spiritual Medium at 12 and meeting his spice-mining quotas at record speeds on his 15th birthday. Raised by a Benne-Gesserit trained mother, he was even believed to be the Kwisatz Haderach by village elders upon displaying extreme proficiency in the weirding ways.
On the night of his 16th birthday, a pivotal time in a young indoarakeen-amish mans life, the Dj found himself in his barn discoursing at length with his spiritual cow on the subject of his impending year of Rumspringa. The spiritual cow, known for being a most agreeable partner in conversation, was nodding it’s head displaying slight signs of fatigue around it’s eyes, pondering the boy that lately had seemed so foreign to him. 
“Could it really be him, i sense the spice in him, it is slowly altering his mind, expanding his sight, he looks where not even the elders dare look, the spice…” 
That night the prodigal son felt at once elated and anxious at the thought of leaving his community for an entire year. His peers had told him many strange tales of the outside world that to him seemed like a different planet. But of all the tall tales one stood out to him, Music. 
To explain the strangeness that the concept of music posed to the prodigal son, one must understand what transpired in the olden times of the indoarakeen-amish community. This strange niche-community initially had a rich music culture, but being a niche-community they inevitably developed an ever increasing taste for rare and niche-music. As a rather small community they soon ran out of niches and rare songs to discover. Suddenly in the predicament of having exhausted their resources things quickly turned sour for the community. Heated arguments would erupt in the town square, for all that was left for the indoarakeen-amish was to debate which niche-genre was the superior. 
And so the arguments would go on eventually causing severe civil unrest. It is believed to be the die hard Vegan Straight Edge fans that threw the first stone causing a chain reaction as the Pornogrind supporters would not let such an aggression go unanswered. Soon stones were thrown in every direction, even the Grizly Death Metal fans, whom to many were known as peace mongers, would join the fight. 
This battle of niches would go on to last seven days and nights and when the bloodlust finally had passed, the indoarakeen-amish awoke from their haze to a city in ruins. Looking in each others eyes they vowed never to succumb to violence again. The first step to reestablish peace was the immediate and total ban on music of all genres and niches.

Chapter 1.

In the wake of his final meeting with Mangini, The Learned Dog, feeling the onset of elation, noted the following as his train ride concluded its final stretch through the Transdanubian territories.

“It was one of those early autumn days when the streets of Rome became engulfed in light so brilliant that one suspected even the dull-witted pavement of being on the verge of sudden awakening. Rising from the depths of its concrete slumber with the nagging feeling of having overslept yet sensitive to the fugacious beauty of the moment. The slow rising of its spine traveling up the Via del Corso in a wave like motion".

In an extraordinary turn of events Free Benne Recordo has managed to acquire another masterpiece from Lanzo e Mangini. The Learned dog, manager of our Italian branch, had long given up on finding more intact recordings of the Italian duo. That was until Mangini for the first time reached out to our label. This gesture was extremely shocking as all official reports suggested his death to have taken place in the late 80’s. Upon confirming his identity, we immediately arranged for a personal interview in Rome. Our Italian specialist, The Learned Dog, was to be head of our delegation and conduct the interview with Mangini. Many questions were on our minds in the time leading up to the interview. Where had Mangini been in all those years? Why hadn’t he mentioned Lanzo? Would he be in possession of unreleased material? 
Even the Learned Dog, a seasoned journalist who had stood on his hind paws in the company of legends such as Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin, was in an acute state of nervousness. This was indeed the holy grail.
