What a vibe in the chat this week! S/O to the LLL fam going from strength to strength! Folks fr showing up to hang and have a good time! This week I didn't have a clear map of how things were gonna unfold, but I knew I had some jamming new tracks I had saved to maybe play in hour 2. So I first started on a rolling deep vibe and moved into some soulful, funky liquid. By the time the 2nd hour came around we had some fun chat interaction happening. I raised the temp some with some stomping jump tech rollers to keep the party vibe going and then eased into a more soul tech vibe later into the set. Good times was had by all. SUNANDBASS Podcast #48 comes from 'All Crews'. Here's what they had to say about the mix:

The ethos behind All Crews is to celebrate everyone’s talents. The crew's members include: JB Raw of London From The Rooftops, DJ Chef of Kool FM, DJ Staunch from Rude FM and All Crew's author Brian Belle-Fortune. Our sun-kissed logo was designed by Nadine Minagawa and The Voice himself Mr singing Fats accompanies us on this journey through SUNANDBASS, the special festival where we all bonded. And each Crew member plays a different SUNANDBASS venue. JB Raw ushers in warm liquid La Cinta's beach vibes. Chef entertains Bal Harbour's bikini & bass, pool and palm trees. Staunch militantly marches us straight into Ripping's Darkroom. And Brian 'No Prisnors' Belle-Fortune devastates Ambra Night.

Although we all live in London, all the mixes were recorded separately by each DJ, without knowing which tracks the others were playing. So it says much that no one selected the same tune. It's down to the talents of DJ Chef, engineering the mix, ensuring all the levels were correct, arranging Fats' words punctuating the music in exactly the right places.

This is All Crew's Bad Company collective. As DJ Staunch explains, "Expect to hear the mix and with each chapter think, 'Actually it's all about this style, that's what makes this  culture so special. Each soul has their own take on it and we get to tell the same story a million different ways. I know when I hear you lot spin I'm like fuck me.' "

Zero T - Live Series 2018

DJ Soulsource started djing in the mid-80s right before the birth of underground dance culture. Open-eared and eclectic to a variety of music, he warmed up for artists like Dee Lite, Run Dmc and Gang Starr, playing mostly Hip Hop, Soul and Funk. Residencies at some of the era's most important clubs in Berne such as "Miles Club" at Stufenbau, Dampfzentrale and Wasserwerk followed, establishing Soulsource as a sure provider of fresh flavours in the early 90s' melting pot of club culture and rave. 
Around that time he discovered Drum&Bass Jungle which proved to be his biggest passion to this day. This led to working in a recordshop and promoting regular club events such as "Drum & Bass Lighters" or "UK Fever". The creativity of his sets and exclusive dubplates made him one of the most wanted D&B-DJs in Switzerland and abroad with gigs like the "Let it roll"-Festival in Czech Republic. More recently, Soulsource provided an exclusive album mix for vocalist David Boomah on V-Records. He regularly supports acts such as Bryan G, Chase and Status, Goldie, Roni Size, Benny Page, Mc Tali, Peshay, Ltj Bukem and Mc Conrad among others and promotes his own new events series "Capital Breakz".
