I'm planning on putting some covers on youtube with tunings my guitar can't possibly handle with the relatively light strings I use in my band... So I tried to use a pitch shifter to drop all instruments half an octave, more than I'll be needing for covers :D It ended up sounding pretty cool, even though it only has 2 riffs... The whole song is in 7/8 and the quotes are from Nathan Explosion in Metalocalypse, my favourite show. I don't claim to own those samples or the image, I just used them as a tribute to the most brutal character ever, they belong to Brendon Small and Adult Swim.

Why is the rum gone?

Got a new guitar recently and wanted to see how well EMG 81 and 85 can perform clean against my old cheap stratocaster. Both the neck pickup and bridge pickup give a great clean tone, perfectly usable for most genres. Even the bass was recorded with the same guitar, but it was pitched down an octave and I ran it through a Bass amp VST. (The dry signal sounded a lot like a DI bass so I can get these tones from my bass aswell)
