Staying true to one's signature style, but at the same time re-inventing oneself again and again and again: A serious dilemma for many artists. However, it's not for Dole & Kom. Their Salto Mortale EP comes with three productions that are similar yet very different to each other in a fascinating way. Superfancy is back. For the start of the year 2016 is an absolut classic tune from Funkwerkstatt with fresh remixes via Superfancy Recordings on his way to your trustworthy record dealer. "Melodie fr Millionen", originally released on the label 3000 Records, will now be released with the original track plus two remixes on Funkwerkstatt's label. To start with Anthik, wich has already released on Suara and Go deeva Records, in collaboration with Felipe Puertes. The two swiss guys transform the track into an absolut modern clubmonster. A catchy bassline, up beat arpeggiator sounds paired with timeless vocals turn this remix into a weapon for ever dancefloor.The second remix comes from the two berlin locals Dole & Kom, members of the 3000 community. Their upperdisco Dub is a little bit more relaxed and changes the track into a timless warm deephouse-chordmonster. The track will blow up every afterhour dancefloor in the early morning. After two standout sets from Andreas Henneberg and his alter-ego Cascandy during our Desert Hearts 3 Year Anniversary Festival, we fell in love with the work-horse producer from Berlin and knew we had to have him release on Desert Hearts Records. Everything from Andreas' music, his vibe, and his personality were a perfect fit for our Desert Hearts Family. We were even more excited when Andreas told us he'd love to release on our label as The Glitz, his breakout side project with production partner and DJ Daniel Nitsch. While the title track "Chubby Cheek" leans more on the techier side, it's the B-Side "Freedamn" that embodies everything that Desert Hearts stands for: Love, Freedom, & Positive Energy for the world. Both tracks are heavily hip hop influenced and have been consistently setting dance floors on fire. We couldn't be more proud to welcome Andreas and Daniel from The Glitz to Desert Hearts Records. The true techno dream team of Dubfire & Oliver Huntemann revisit their Elements project from a few years ago with a new series of killer remixes. Terra - originally released in 2011, did all sorts of damage to dance-floors across the globe. Now, it’s all set to do it again thanks to this Joseph Capriati Remix. The Italian techno headliner has grown into a major force on the scene in recent years, and here delivers a signature slice of muscular, driving techno - taut, dramatic and devastating. Paired with a remix of the now seminal Feugo Julien Jeweil’s remix also hits the spot - the track received a 2016 overhaul with some of Jeweil’s signature flair. The Frenchman has been a constant figure on the top of various charts and line ups for some time, and its easy to see why - Fuego is stripped back machine funk primed for big systems and even bigger moments.
