Nowhere Trains

SoundCloud's wonderful and creative pianist Milana Zilnik https://soundcloud.com/milanazilnik just released a new CD entitled Una Corda Fantasia, with solo performances on the virtual version of a brand new instrument, the Una Corda.  When I heard her expressive Savannah Blues, I asked if I could accompany her.  With her blessing, we now have Savannah Blues, with bass, Hammond organ and strings added.  A pleasure and joy to accompany Milana, who continues to do so much for and with pianists and other instrumentalists here, opening her music and heart, and sharing it with so many around the world.  

To quote Milan's gallery, "This is the fourth track from my upcoming album "Una Corda Fantasia", recorded on the virtual version of an unique piano, created by David Klavins (@ThePianoGuy), whom I had the privilege to meet in person last summer. Native Instruments liked the idea a lot and even featured the album on their page:

These days David is building the new Giant (klavins-pianos.com/b/mod450_en.htm), a new incredible piano, the biggest piano in the world. I decided to donate all the proceeds from the online sales of “Una Corda Fantasia” to support the creation of the new Giant. Milana put this cool Jazzy/Blues track together and first time I heard it I loved it but you no how that can change with your mood sometime's?? but she was kind enough to send it a little later to add and it still felt the same!! Right down to my toe's....Have to take my amp in for repair tmrw but wanted to finish this and another collab coming up shortly from another Giant!! The head still works on the combo but the speaker blew @ a show we did on the weekend....need a amp that go's to 11 on some songs hahaha!! Anyway hope you enjoy this!! Loved playing it Milana!!!
