This local Southern Humboldt favorite has been at the forefront of electronic music in Southern Humboldt since 2003. Having grown up in the Garberville area, Andreas studied in southern Germany from 1998-2002 where he learned the art of beat-matching, and started throwing weekly DJ parties for his fellow university students. He then went on to further hone his DJing abilities, and study production at the Manchester MIDI School in Manchester, England.  Whether he’s playing some of his more well known Booty Breaks sets, or keeping it a bit dark and moody with his tech house/techno sets, his taste in music has always been impeccable. This has allowed him to open up for acts such as Freq Nasty, Stanton Warriors, and also play with Burning Man stalwarts the Space Cowboys. Since 2016 Andreas has been throwing his monthly HAUSWERK party at the Stone Junction in Garberville, CA. featuring out of the area guests as well as local talent. It is still Southern Humboldt’s first and only electronic music monthly. In recent years,  Andreas has played at festivals in California as well as internationally.  He has been a regular fixture at The Summer Arts and Music Festival, and in 2018 and 2019 also played at Northern Nights. His djing has also taken him overseas where he has twice been on the bill at Meadows in the Mountains in Bulgaria as well as gigs in 2021 in the Albanian Riviera.
