This remix of The Last Hero started off with some air drumming whilst I was listening to the original SID at work (this happens all the time when a tune inspires me). I got the basic groove down and thought: "I must get this tune remixed!" I don't play other instruments that well and please don't ask me to mix and master your next album, but I'm fortunate to have talented friends who dedicated their time to make this remix to what it is. It was a pleasure working with everyone and for me, this cooperation is a true testament to how wonderful the C64 scene is and also the friendships that come along with it.

This is C64 retro band 6581 performing the world famous tune from The Last Ninja II on Back in Time Live Stockholm 2008. 6581 consisted of Reyn Ouwehand (MacMagix), Eike Steffen (Romeo Knight), Andreas Wallström (Morpheus) and Anders Larsson. The music was originally written by Matt Gray.

This is C64 retro band 6581 performing the theme from Bombo at Back in Time Live Stockholm 2008. 6581 consisted of Reyn Ouwehand (MacMagix), Eike Steffen (Romeo Knight), Andreas Wallström (Morpheus) and Anders Larsson. Bombo was originally written by Ben Daglish.

Featuring Al Lowe on saxophone, this is a remix of the original tune he wrote for the classic game Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of the Lounge Lizards. It was initiated a couple of years ago, so I'm sure Al has forgotten he helped us out. :) Thanks again Al! I did this one with NecroPolo (Péter Nagy-Miklós), and because he's such a great guy, you can expect more music from us in a not too distant future.

This is Makke's remix of Ben Daglish's original Commodore 64 track. I'm glad I persuaded him that some Percusión a la Wallström would fit the song well. It's still one of the best C64 remixes out there if you ask me.
