I'm beyond excited to share my Rainbow Serpent 2019 recording with you! It was my fifth and best Rainbow so far. I made heaps of new friends and learned so much about myself in these five very intense days. And I hope you enjoyed this set as much as I did. 
Sorry for the short distortions from time to time but I was too excited 🙈

Carlos Aguirre from Quito, Ecuador located in the middle of the world , V-CIOUS project was formed in 2012 . with its roots in house and minimal bring new sounds with a meaning and innovative to people with good taste, has accomplished much in a short time and shared with Sasha (Lat Night On Earth), Robert Babicz(Kompakt), Butane (My Little Helpers) Robert James (Hot Creations), Audiofly (Supernature), Sandeman (Crosstown Rebels ), James Teej (Last Night On Earth), Robbie Akbal (Akbal Records), Supernova (Lapsus Music) among others. At the end of 2014 Carlos Aguirre creates his own record label to give opportunity to national and international artists called Sleepless Records, this has already been positioned as one of the best and most promising brands among Ecuadorian labels. 

His works have been supported by great artists such as Richie Hawtin, Magit Cacoon, DJ Tennis , Laurent Garnier, Marco Carola, Dj Diass, Marco Resmann, Jean Claude Ades and more. In August (2015) V-Cious was the winner of the first remix contest by Upon You Records at Beatport Play , with his interpretation of the original track of Magit Cacoon - Freedom Is Timeless. chosen from more than 250 remixes. 

Having the honor of being part of one of the most recognized labels Upon You Records from Germany . Now focused on production, he has collaborated with artists such as Mikalogic (Suara-Noir Music), Dj Diass (303 Lovers-Incorrect) and THe WHite SHadow (FR) (Katermuke-Einmusika) .2017 release his first Vinyl release for Record label Resopal Schallware and constantly works with big labels as Parquet Recordings, Manual Music and Movement.

It was New Wave and Alternative Rock that drew Digmin into the underground music scene and still today, both styles of music inspire him a good deal. In 1995, electronic music revealed itself at Brussels’ old school club ‘Fuse’ and techno was glued to his musical taste. An amazing set played by Hernan Cattaneo at Liverpool Cathedral in 2011 was the real eye-opener: electronic music and Digmin’s musical background could be merged. It was called Progressive. Right there, electronic music turned into a passion.

In 2017, this passion finally turned into the first steps of creating a sound of his own. He started by listening obsessively to tracks and taught himself to mix a set. Well-known producers or small, unknown labels, it didn’t matter at all. Tracks simply have to resonate with those emotions he wants to express. From dark and gloomy to warm and hypnotic, he is looking for that exceptional sound. A sound that embodies his craving for deep underground music.

A couple of months later, he shared his first sets on soundcloud with progressive house. Many more followed with the accent on progressive and later also on melodic Techno. No expectations or blind ambition, just sharing his love for great sets that carry you along to deep, ecstatic, and mind-shifting sensations.

A lifelong passenger of a vibrant musical journey which has travelled instinctively through Classical, Jazz & Pop , Josephine soon found herself commanding the booths of sweaty basements and abandoned warehouse spaces, with her passion for House and Techno blossoming selection by selection.

The hippie-est of the crew, often seen floating from festival to festival, soundscape to soundscape, she's a stubborn optimistic and a music hunter.

Always looking forward to the next step, she is known to all as the creative owl of the bunch, heading up Deep Like’s musical and artistic direction. Born in her restless mind, Deep Like is a reflection of her colourful personality and her spotted talent when it comes to finding up and coming artists, leading the floor and its dancers in lock step.

Sometimes dramatic, sometimes dreamy Josephine’s sets transport her crowds to hypnotic journeys, with each attendee following her intricate storylines track for track with a sense of enchantment and intrigue. Eyes closed, hands up, with that magic sparkle that keeps you dancing, Josephine is a notable bright spark and one to make a note of.

I was honored to be asked to put together an exclusive mix for Souq Records, using only their releases. When they approached me to put this mix together, I totally had a different vision for it; the narrative of the mix definitely changed based on the recent events. That is why I’m dedicating this mix to the memory of all the victims of the Ukrainian flight 752 tragedy. My deepest condolences to their families, friends and loved ones. Moreover, I’d like to dedicate this to the brave Iranian people who are going through some truly tough times now. Do not lose hope, the world is watching. Sending courage and strength to you all!

A little about Sahar:
Sahar is a drawing artist born in Tehran and based in Los Angeles. Her works employ geometrical shapes and lines to either illustrate scenes inspired by the real world or create abstract shapes and formations. She starts drawing with no particular outcome in mind and lets her ideas flow. Sahar is inspired by the sudden harmony in improvisational compilation of small visual elements.
