I wrote this song for my brother, who lives far away in Australia. Playing it always makes me think of how awesome he is, and also of all the people who I love and miss spread out all over the world. 

People are all so similar in so many ways, I hope we can learn to focus more on that than on our differences, you know?

Barefoot Romance

This song is about hope and the idea that happiness (love) is not a destination but a journey in itself, plus it's always right where we need it (inside us). We also get all these challenges to help us expand our capacity for feeling. At least, so I think.
As Buddha said: "There is no way to happiness. Happiness is the way."
