Preparing for my first live gig and as a result I am re-arranging tracks for playing dawless on hardware, as I don't want to use a computer. This is a track that I wrote 2 years ago when living in Berlin about my relationship with my 25 year old daughter. I was learning modern production, so I have also polished and dusted some of the instruments as part of this new arrangement.

This version is mostly instrumental, as I am keeping the vocals sparse for my first gig. I have enough to worry about just playing and performing the synth and drum parts.

This could be a new single so I have labelled it as a single version.

Recorded live at Reading EMOM at South St Arts Centre, Reading on 25 Sep 2025.  Performed with the following setup: Sequential Prophet 5 Desktop, Moog Sub Phatty, Polyend Play+ and 1010 Music Blackbox.

Wir freuen uns sehr dieses wunderschöne Weihnachtsgeschenk machen zu können! Wir sind selbst ganz aus dem Häuschen, denn den Abschluss der diesjährigen Podcast-Reihe „Auf Zu Neuen Dächern“ macht das Duo „Xique-Xique“ aus Sao Paulo, Brasilien.

Inspiriert und auch beinflusst durch das Voodoohop-Kollektiv steht das Slow-Projekt von Dunwich & Biba Graeff für die brodelnde Alternativ-Szene Sao Paulo’s.
Hypnotische Melodien, organische Rhythmen und Deep-Grooves bestimmen das Set, dass uns von Xique-Xique hier zu Weihnachten geschenkt wird. Die Produktionen des Duo’s wurden unter Anderen von „Nicola Cruz“ geremixt und Ihre Veröffentlichungen erscheinen zumeist auf dem Label „The Magic Movement“.

Wir sagen Danke! An Xique-Xique, aber auch euch. Für dieses wunderschöne Jahr 2017.
