While on Jam Cruise 13 (2015), Derek Vincent Smith AKA Pretty Lights uploaded 10 tracks straight from his laptop to PLF member Cassie Blochinger's flash drive. Some are debatably finished, some are breaks from which he would sculpt a finished track, and some are right in the middle. The tracks themselves are not necessarily all new, but still have not seen an official release.

When i first heard about Eprom from Gaslamp Killer I totally freaked out, but when I heard his album Halflife I knew I had to work with him somehow.  So I called him up and invited him down to LA.  This was a really natural collaboration. He came down to Venice and we sat in the studio for 3 days working on these tunes.  I don’t fan boy about very many producers but Eprom is one of the greatest in my humble opinion and he didn’t disappoint. We had all the analog stuff routing back and forth, then sampling it, resampling it, reworking it — the super cool mind of a maniac up in here.

Moon Juice was made strictly with 808 sounds, even the angelic arp style pads are made from modified 808 kick drums. Crawled Eagle is that more nasty Eprom vibe reminiscent of Center of the Sun from Halflife.  I added all my bits throughout as well.  Listeners beware this ain’t house music if that’s what you are expecting!
