Otorongo is the Quechua word for Jaguar, Curinahuel is the same in Mapudungu.

Otorongo is a music selector originally from Chile but currently based in Naarm (Melbourne). He is known for transporting audiences to pristine ecosystems: tropical floodplains, mountain rainforests, or wherever your imagination feels the most comfortable. Otorongo's sets are filled with ethnic percussions, nature samples, and exotic instruments, and are driven by ancient rhythms carefully blended to ensure you feel free to dance. Expect from ethnic downtempo to eclectic Afrofuturism, passing through chillrave and tribal tech.

He is co-founder of ISU TAKI, a collective that organises parties to promote emerging beats from Abya Yala (aka South America) and beyond.

His hypnotic sets journey from downtempo tribal rhythms to organic house indie disco, transporting you into uplifting, cosmic realms. 

Andre has been igniting clubs, festivals and barefoot dance floors since 1996, playing all over the world to audiences in Ibiza, Boom Festival, Rainbow Serpent, Universo Paralelo and more. 

He lives in Bellingen, Australia where he hosts regular ecstatic dance parties with his wife Rache(Rainbow Tribe )
