Good friend The Sonic Emporium has delved into his warped bag of wizardry and delivered us a minimal outing for that 5am trip into stripped back techno, it both builds and breaks with the drones and crescendos of an early Berlin Berghain set. 

New family members Flymo & Replay and Greg Less are on remix duties and take suitably different stances to the track. 

Flymo & Replay keep tight a hold of the darkness and offer a peak time floor gremlin of a track for all your house head needs, from their smattering of vocals to the locked tight bass your head nods from start to finish.

Greg Less subtly teases the main riffs into a more twisted affair, breaking every now and then to let the bass breath and kick drum do the heavy lifting.

For its fifth release, the trend setting Altus Project label pulls together its best talents for a new multi-artist compilation that is chock full of house and tech greatness. Entitled Altus All Stars, label bosses Lee M Kelsall, Thee Cool Cats and Sean Roman pull together seven tracks that are all set to be massive club hits. As well as the bosses themselves, the compilation features Krown City, The DC, Devv, Simon Jain and NRKY & Numbers and will be available on all platforms. 
Opening up with the freaky tech house vibes and future synths of boss Sean Roman’s ‘Black Porcelain’, the release touches on a deep and bumpy house remix by Flymo & Replay of Lee M Kelsall’s ’Love Rouge’ as well as the slick beats and haunting atmospherics of Krown City’s ‘Fit To Behave.’
Super fresh and contemporary throughout, this fine selection then goes to Simon Jain’s heavyweight bit of high pressure house ‘All Digital’ and NRKY & Numbers’ spooked out and raved up ’50 Buddhas’. Last but not least, The DC’s ‘Playin The Fool’ layers up colourful neon chord stabs, wavy beats and seductive grooves and Devv closes things down with ‘Keep It Clean’, which is indeed crispy and trippy thanks to some loopy bass down low and sci-fi melodic sounds up top. 
This is a fine statement that proves the label knows exactly how to tap into the hottest underground talents and get the very best from them.
