Our latest VA compilation arrives in time for the renowned Miami Music Week featuring a wave of new faces and returning talent from around the globe. 

The world-renowned Miami Music Week returns in its entirety in 2022. What better way to celebrate it than a compilation to mark the occasion? Making up our MMW VA, we welcome a host of international acts to the stage as they share an array of forward-thinking underground cuts!

Teknically Speaking blow the door wide open with ‘Titled’, bringing swinging grooves, jazzy melodies and soulful vocal arrangements to create a certified vibe-builder. ‘Look Out’ follows with Chris Brooks and Martin Bordacahar turning out a terrace-geared percussive jam with bottom-heavy beats, subtle harmonies and hooky vox constructions. Simon Salazar’s ‘Fergilicious’ ramps up the pace with driving rhythms and pulsating bass notes and a nostalgic vocal topline, churning out a guaranteed dancefloor heater - also accompanied by a stripped-back ‘Dub Mix’.

MartinoResi, Baraçal and Marcelo keep up the tempo with more percussive-driven mastery on ‘Tombo’, delivering a groove-laden mix of sturdy drums, captivating melodic factors and sultry vocal runs. Ivan Zorzolo and Julio Bravo’s ‘Crashed’ takes a deep dive, stripping back the energy and emphasising an underground feel via a heavyset kick and sub combo, scattered percs and glitchy sampling. Matt Arnold’s ‘Hero Or Nero’ showcases his increasingly-popular audio signature of tribal-tinged rolling beats and blossoming musicality, bringing weighty terrace rhythms and vivid injections of harmony from end to end.

JXR’s ‘Euphoria’ builds around layers of gritty leads, pads, and bass notes alongside punchy drum work and fizzing hat sequences for an undeniably danceable and charismatic cut. ‘Liket’ sees Matías Schaller dip back into the heavier end of the spectrum with colossal rhythmic sub-bass and big-room appeal from the outset, making it a prime time playlist pick. JP Torres closes the compilation with ‘Oh Right!’, keeping the energy at a resounding high level with a vocally-driven dancefloor weapon full of riveting cadence and unwavering intrigue from the very start.
