This is a live set contribution to the Modyfier Process Series. If you aren't familiar, Modyfier is a really unique electronic music blog that collects contributions of varying kinds--live sets, DJ sets, single tracks, a few tracks, whatever the artist feels like contributing. Along with the music, the contributor writes a kind of "artist's statement" about their piece; not necessarily about the production or technicalities of making it, but more about the vision and creative drive behind it.

Atmospheric sounds, hybrid textures and organic layers laced with broken voices and bonded all together to generate the required voltage for each of the 3 cuts to be dance-floor explosive hymns. A delight!

It has been rapid rise for Italian brothers Fabrizio & Matteo Floris. Producing as Mr. Bizz the duo's early releases for Frisbee Tracks and Muticolor Recording found good support, however it was their 2009 production 'Eternity' that really put them on map. Signed to Cocoon, it featured on the Ten Years Of Cocoon compilation mixed by Dubfire and Loco Dice and was a highlight of that summer season. Into 2010 and Mr. Bizz were in full flow, signing releases to Tuning Spork and Resopal Schallware and turning their remix talents on Hakan Lidbo. Since then its been a flurry of releases. Ep's for Octopus Recordings, Deeperfect and Material Series and remixes for the likes of Mauro Picotto, Hermanez, Pig&Dan, Stefano Noferini and Yello. The heavy beat patterns and sinister vocals have defined Mr. Bizz's original style and are to the fore here again on their SCI+TEC debut, 'Reversion EP'.

Getting back into the VA operators chair,label boss Sian returns to our anarchic comp series with an extra long running (almost 2 hr) seamless blend of brand new music from the cream of worldwide techno subculture.Gliding through heavy,rough edged,and angular peak time tracks to the washed out hazy rollers,he has immaculately procured the wide ranging selection and pumped the mercy out of the tracks with the signature heavy compressed and solid low end the label is now famous for delivering.Outerspace vocals mash into huge synth shapes,workout kick drums and complex percussion rip through a canvas of hi tech future boogie very reflective of Sian ́s own DJ sets.
