Vinyl Mix (1997)

On a Sunday during the spring of 1999, I woke up at 5 am and couldn´t sleep any longer. I was so excited about life. I opened the window of my bedroom & hung the microphone out there, recording the park, its birds, adding some reverb. I turned on my cassette deck, added live keyboard. Here we go. Not a phenomenal recording in itself, but a very memorable morning.

Birds & Keys

A dog has been visiting us for a few days. Made me get up earlier than usual. We walked, we heard music, & here I found this old tune. It´s good enough, no need for perfection. The door´s noise was added as a promotional wrinkle, & it sounds good, too.
Get well into this next year, 2025. Another quarter of another century will have gone by.
