I took the opportunity to showcase my vision of a house mix that goes on a one hour journey through a myriad of styles. This mix draws from many musical influences and moods from around the world with an emphasis on movement! Dancing your journey is the intent here with bass heavy chuggers, latin inspired cuts, soulful vibes, deep jackers, Afro heat, cheeky disco nods, a touch of acid and a few of house music’s (many) important productions. The mix moves along, never usually playing one track too long by itself, weaving a dance floor odyssey that never feels rushed allowing the segments of each selection to naturally form a cohesive, timeless whole.
