Yesterday, April 21th / 2016, Prince died at the age of 57.
That news were rather sad 'cause Prince was for me one of the best guitar players of our time, he was a awesome producer and an exceptional musician.

This is a big lost for the music industry.

Well, one of my favourites from Prince, is Purple Rain (i also like Lil' Red Corvette and Pop Life, but, Purple Rain is kinda his best recording, pure gold!)

This track was originally composed by Masafumi Ogata for the game "Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (Master System/Game Gear Version)"  and later remixed for Sonic CD to be the main theme of the game: "Sonic - You Can Do Anything", performed by Keiko Utoku and Casey Rankin (who wrote the lyrics).

This theme have been remixed many other times, and today is one of the most iconic Sonic themes of all time.

First time i'm releasing this, i've been keeping this remix for...2 years!, that's right, 2 years keeping this track on my computer, but never uploaded it 'cause i'm always doubting of myself,; sometimes i don't know if i have something good enough that deserves to be uploaded or is just unfinished and it needs to be further pursued.

But i think is time to share this track, and after all i fixed all the issues it had on the early version, hope you like this, i can imagine this on a Sega Genesis game.

Today, November 14th, 2016, we celebrate 10th Anniversary of SONIC THE HEDGEHOG, the first Sonic next-gen game released for Xbox 360 and Play Station 3 in 2006.

To celebrate, i did a special illustration (as seen in the image) and i released this alt gens mix i had already done years ago.
NOTE: This is the ALTERNATE version.

The ORIGINAL version is available on YouTube channel, theblehedgehog; with a new improvement in the extension!; that's because i made the mix a few years ago and its extension back then wasn't to accurate, that's why I "re-uploaded" the music again with a better sequence.

This time I share with all of you this 16-bits remix of Paul McCartney's track 'Rough Ride' I made several months ago, but I decided to release today due to the relevance.

I've found the beat and strenght of the song to be pretty cool with the genesis/megadrive soundfont, so, I made the RMX to find out if I was right, and I believe I am, this arrangements and rhythm are gorgeous with the 16-bits power.
