This is a 45 Min section of my piece for Celestial Terrestrial - a group show of artists which took its starting point from the Astrologer John Von Lamont who was born in Inverey near Braemar.
This piece was produced as four different stereo mixes, all of different lengths and all looped so as to create an "endless" piece. They played through 8 speakers housed in St' Margaret's Church in Braemar. I recorded this section in situ - on 25th October 2017.
I made lots of field recordings in the area of Von Lamonts birth place (streams, birds, waterfall, deer, dogs, weather, atmospheres etc: and mixed them with "Spacey" more Astral sounds which i made using synths, guitars, basses, glass bowls, film and radio clips. 
The result was a pleasing (at least to me) dense sonic mesh of sound - very enjoyable to make.
