Mega Man Zero 3 is a video game developed by Inti Creates and published by Capcom for the Game Boy Advance (GBA) handheld game console. It is the third video game in the Mega Man Zero series of Mega Man video games. The European version featured a completely different logo, which was also used on Mega Man X7, Mega Man X8, Mega Man X: Command Mission, Mega Man Zero 2, Mega Man Zero 4, Mega Man Network Transmission, Mega Man Battle Chip Challenge, Mega Man Battle Network 3, Mega Man Battle Network 4, and Mega Man Battle Network 5. In February 2020, the game was released on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam as part of the Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection.

Mega Man Zero 3 was the fourth best-selling video game in Japan during its week of release. It was the 106th best-selling game in the country for 2004 at 121,847 units sold. The game would later become one of the cheapest game of the Mega Man Zero subseries to repurchase.

I’ve been a big fan of Periphery since the inception of the band, and I’ve certainly been influenced by them at times in my own work as well. A few years ago I ended up at a group dinner in Silver Lake with Matt Halpern as he was in town playing drums with Mick Gordon, the composer of the Doom soundtrack (he is also incredible, I might add). Over the course of a couple drinks and some buffalo cauliflower, dinner serendipitously turned into having access to the multitracks of their most recent album, Periphery III, as well as forging some new friendships that I’m very grateful for. Ultimately, they suggested I take on Lune, which was one one of the more overtly melodic tracks of the album, and a little while later this is what came out. Truthfully, it’s one of the best remixes I think I’ve done in a very long and I’m very pleased to be able to share it with you finally. They’re all such incredibly talented musicians that it was very difficult not to be inspired by what they composed, and it’s an honor to have been able to put my stamp on it.
