But it’s his ability to consistently bring the audience together and make them feel so floaty and happy while dancing that really sets him apart. 

The selection spans several decades from avant-garde records to drum & bass cuts and a few rarities that collectors have likely been looking to get their hands on. Landelles podcast series is a celebration of DJs with a particular devotion to their craft. We could have not wished for a better start. 10th Gost Zvuk episode on NTS Radio. This time we are having a very special retrospective mix of Mikhail Chekalin's works recorded live in Minsk by Alexey Blagodao at the event dedicated to composers work and life, curated by @estetikazvuka. This selection is made from a very rare "12 album series" released and supported by M'Ars gallery in the early 90's. This music sounded at Spring exhibition of "20 artists" on Malaya Gruzinskaya in the 80's.

Brussels young talent Dardenne mixes together a 70 mins trip of downtempo to IDM, breakbeat, electro and all that intertwines.

Futurepast Mix 03 - Dardenne

Belgrade-born and Dusseldorf-based, https://soundcloud.com/vladimir is a singular DJ with no distinctive sound. Renowned for consistently pushing and exploring the boundaries of DJing, he enjoys finding unusual “frequencies, silence, and gaps” by playing records at the wrong speed, most influentially - giving 90’s trance a dark and EBM-influenced feel by slowing them down. Sharing music to provoke an emotive reaction, Ivkovic reaches for genres not usually heard on the dancefloor: “If you can make someone cry, maybe by accident, with a selection of music, it's a beautiful thing.”

Having finessed his skills at the world-famous Salon Des Amateurs alongside Lena Wilikens and Jan Schulte, Ivkovic now also runs Offen Music, a label specialised in authentic subjectivism.

This expansive offering for our series leans more towards a soundtrack than a club mix; a hypnotic meander through sound-scapes, samples and the consistently creative selections we've all come to embrace with Vladimir.

Now, this one is technically cheating a little bit... It's not quite a mix but a live set but who really cares? 

Anyway, Alex Albrecht is a producer and dj from Australia. He releases music under the guise of Melquíades and has done so to great acclaim for Scissor & Thread and his own Analogue Attic imprint. He also produces music alongside Sean La'Brooy as part of a dynamic duo who have appeared on Night Tide, Voyage Recordings and Butter Sessions to name a few. 

Alex has a sound which is fundamentally rooted in the deeper fringes of dance and electronic music. Drawing upon influences from the natural world his music could be described as a subtle blend of balearic intricacies, deep house, electronica and beyond. His sound is reminiscent of the nineties in which breaks and the ethereal ruled supreme under the principle of free thinking dance music and psychedelics. 

With a recent EP for Scissor & Thread and a new collaborative release for Apollo Records he is having a busy summer. 

Presently on tour, this mix was recorded as a live set from somewhere along the way and it really is very special indeed.
