This is based on Hull Vikings speedway.  From 1971-1983 we had a number of world champions, including the great Ivan Mauger.  The track does not exist now.

When I was a child my mum's neighbour, Mr Fernandez, had some pigeons which he let off.  One day he took me with him and then we went to a pub.  I stared out of the window on such a lovely day and did not wish to return home.
