Born in Johannesburg South Africa and raised in Gaborone Botswana, BRO is one of the most versatile
voices to come out of Southern Africa using life in the Apartheid era to shape his artistry.
The diverse Singer/songwriter/rapper has strived to not to stick to industry norms and not conforming
to what is considered safe in the world of music.
He describes his genre as a mix between hip hop and pop, Although the boundaries are regularly
broken to include all the other genres. Influences vary being raised by uk and African cultures, the
standout influences are anything Temptations, Queen, Pink Floyd all the way up to the 90s hip hop era.
Bridging the gap between underground and mainstream music he refuses the chance to be boxed in
one particular part of music giving him the chance to collaborate with artists and producers not
necessarily in his niche.
This varied style has earned him slots at many local festivals, Radio play on BBC radio stations as well as
interviews on local regional BBC radio stations as well as work with producers and artists in Turkey,
Botswana, South Africa, Uk and Australia
