This is a recording inspired by the Loop performance I gave at Charlie and Rob's fantastic wedding at the Elixir Shore Club in Ibiza. It is my chill-out version of the classic Ibiza Club Anthem "Fade" by Solu. Hope you enjoy.

This is my version of the beautiful 2nd movement theme from Rodrigo's "Concerto D' Aranjuez". I have recorded this in an Ibiza Chillout style, as performed at the Elixir Shore Club in Ibiza for the Wedding of Charlie and Rob (Spring 2013). This was recorded/mixed and mastered in 20 minutes on my Godin Multiac Grand Guitar using Cubase 7.

This is the Keeping Boys Christmas contribution this year. It was recorded on 17/12/2013 in my studio in Sutton Valence. The backing music was recorded on a Godin Multiac Grand Guitar through a GR 55 Synth in Cubase 7. The Boys vocals were recorded on an AKG C414 into GAP Pre-73 MkII. This is a recording of a beautiful arrangement of Gershwin's "Love Is Here To Stay" by the amazing John Duarte. Recorded in the Chapel at Sutton Valence on Cubase 7, through RME Multiface, Oktavia room mics and AKG. Golden Age Pre 73Mk II.


Andrew Keeping plays Gershwin's  'Love is here to stay'

Andrew Keeping   graduated from the Royal Academy of Music in London, studying under Michael Lewin, Timothy Walker and Bob Spencer, and in masterclasses with John Williams, Julian Bream, Robert Tear and Eduardo Fernandez. This followed an intensive five years being taught by the renowned professor and composer Oliver Hunt. He has appeared at venues worldwide including broadcasts on both radio and television. He works in partnership with various international singers and instrumentalists. His intimate drawing-room recitals have included regular performances before members of the British and Spanish Royal Families.

His reputation as a performer with flair and innate musicality were demonstrated with the release of his critically acclaimed solo C.D., "British Guitar" and two 'sell-out' recitals at London's South Bank. As a session musician his versatile playing can be heard in film music, TV ads and as a backing guitarist to some of the world’s most illustrious Rock and Pop artists. His talent, wide ranging repertoire and warm personality is winning new audiences for the classical guitar, and has made him a much sought after performer.

Andrew’s close affinity to the works of British composers has not only led him to champion major contemporary works, but also encourage composers to write for the instrument. He has been recognized for his interpretive insight to communicate with conviction and imagination challenging new techniques and ideas.

As a highly accomplished and experienced guitar tutor, many of Andrew's students have successfully forged music careers in their own rite. With his unique blend of humour, specialized knowledge and natural style, he is frequently asked to run lecture/masterclasses, workshops, and sit on committees and adjudicating panels. Over the past two years, Andrew has trained up as a recording engineer/producer specialising in live recording. 

In 2001 the Royal Academy of Music rewarded his achievements and he was made an Associate of that institution.
