Born and raised in San Diego CA  Drew Burgundy spent most of his life being the fastest kid in his neighborhood. So fast that they nicknamed him “Flash”. However, after the suicide of his friend Demetrius “Meaty” Haynes, abandonment by his family, the death of his grandmother Mama KT , and a life changing car accident. He found himself homeless while trying to grow up as a black man in the heartless streets of Southeast San Diego. “I could find no peace, no strength no other way to silence my mind on his pursuit of happiness, until I wrote how I felt to music. Then I understood its power.” And now he puts this story into 15 POWERFUL tracks expressing how he over came it all on his project Everything Is Love.
