As I am a die hard fan of Dark Souls, I noticed a distinct lack of guitar covers of Gwyn's beautifully tragic boss theme. So I dug out the DIY kit and recorded one myself! This is all from my ear trying to distinguish which piano part is playing what on the master recording, so this is by no means accurate, just me trying to play a guitar version to an amateur level. Despite that, I'm fairly happy with the result! Hope you guys enjoy it, especially all fans of Dark Souls out there!

Gwyn, Lord of Cinder

First upload in ages! With my shiny new gear, I decided to continue my Dark Souls covers with this one, Queen of Drangleic. This theme isn't actually in the game (or at least to my knowledge), but it's on the soundtrack for Dark Souls II as a kind of second theme for Nashandra. Again, like my Gwyn cover, I like transcribing piano songs into guitar so I did the same with this one. Please do listen, like, comment and I very much hope you enjoy :)

Queen of Drangleic

Easily my favourite Pokemon theme and my favourite game out the series too. Other than that, this is pretty much self-explanatory. And yes this is guitar, it's just gone through a synth patch on the Axe FX.
God I love this thing.

Littleroot Town

Absolutely adore the start and finish (as well as everything in between) of this album, and I was lacking something to do at 4am aside from sleep, so I decided to cover this wonderful track from BTBAM. Enjoy! P.S. I still have no idea how to get recordings sounding good or mix them, but hey, as a wise man once said, "fuck it".

Goodbye to Everything

In the middle of learning this beautiful piece for college, here's how I'm doing so far. Next up is the tricky bit. 

Clair De Lune

Got a new microphone to record with so I very quickly learned an Andy McKee song and decided to test out how well my acoustic and mic jell. Not the full song and it's nowhere near perfect but honestly I must have spent an hour trying to record one minute so, fuck it.

For My Father

The result of getting bored at midnight and wanting to record something quickly, but nothing too loud to wake anyone up. A quick CKY cover which is also my first vocal cover, took about 15 minutes to do so excuse the mistakes and mixing inexperience but in my tiredness I forgot to overly care. But yeah, hope you at least enjoy. 

Close Yet Far

So I did a cover of this a good while ago but it didn't have any vocals, but since I now possess a microphone I decided to revisit my cover and finish it off. Everything is just guitar and vocals, so not quite a full band cover but one step in the right direction anyway. Enjoy folks (hopefully).

The Raven that Refused to Sing

Quickly recorded a cover of a Birds of Tokyo song which isn't on any album (which is a shame because it's a wonderful song). Covered this to provide some extra material as part of my audition for Front of House Management, but I like how it turned out regardless. Certainly not perfect but hey. 

Rose

The term 'aiming well above my league' would be very fitting for this one. But I recently discovered this album and have been thoroughly enjoying it, so I thought why not. First time using software instruments too which was cool to finally have a go at playing around with. But yeah, enjoy, hopefully.

Silver and Gold

Another vocal cover, first one in a while, this time of one of my favourite vocalists Brandon Boyd from Incubus. Nothing much more to it, hopefully you enjoy!

So yeah, I got a little bored and decided to do a cover of Halo 3's beautiful soundtrack, specifically Never Forget. I missed out the middle part because I did not know it and this was a spur the moment thing so I decided to leave it out :P Hope you guys enjoy, just a little doodle to pass the time!
