The first hour of my DJ set at Bleep43 on December 3rd was a tribute to Peter Christopherson, who died on November 25th.
I chose tracks that either featured his voice, or that I especially connected with him.

Many people have asked me about the set and if it was recorded, so I've decided to make it available.

Recorded at Corsica Studios, London, between 11pm and Midnight on December 3rd, 2010.

Krake is a week long festival of experimental electronic music in Berlin that takes place between 5th - 10th August 2013 in a variety of venues that include Passionskirche chapel, Berghain Kantine and Suicide Circus. The festival is curated by Killekill Records and 2013 marks the fourth edition of the festival.

In 2012 Krake Festival showcased an impecable lineup of pioneering electronic musicians that included Murcof, Perc, Lucy, Dadub, Ulrich Schnauss, Pole, Alex Smoke, Tim Exile, Ceephax Acid Crew and Lakker. 2013 highlights include Cristian Vogel, Monolake, Untold, Dopplereffekt and Nathan Fake perform at Krake.

Inverted Audio have partnered with Krake to present a series of live sets that were recorded last year at Krake Festival. Perc aka Alistair Wells, DJ, producer and label owner of Perc Trax begins the series with an extremely rare live ambient set. He performed this at Berghain Kantine after Dadub's performance. The recording contains new tracks and remixes of older tracks by Perc. "Some tracks were purely elements in my laptop and others were a mixture of laptop audio and live improvised electronics."

In the interview we discuss Perc's involvement and experience of Krake Festival and how his own record label Perc Trax is progressing.

Troy Schafer (of Kinit Her, Wreathes, Rain Drinkers, et al.) and frequent collaborator Dani Schafer began this recording project, a musical work to celebrate their relationship together, just after moving in with each other in 2009. Over the course of the following years they continued to develop and deepen the content of this musical project just as they have their personal relations. Now married and living far from where they began, they have finally turned in the result of their efforts, a beautiful record under the banner of the aptly christened Devotion. Those already familiar with the Schafers' musical forays into the hidden recesses of folkish trance and the moving cadence of ancient melodies, as is well documented in their work with Kinit Her and Wreathes, will be thrilled to hear them sink all the more deep within these sounds of their shared atmosphere and to stretch out within the music of their own hearth. Maidenly vocals soar, with glorious harmonies twisting over a stirring rush of stringed and brass instruments and propulsive percussion, with Dani's voice drawing familiar timbres from the memories of classic 1960's acid folk goddesses. Despite the haunting inherent in this and all music born of those with their roots deep in the soil of Wisconsin, Devotion is able to safely make their prayers within the sanctuary of the each others loving grace, and this feeling weaves itself with warm reassurance throughout the entire album.

Shadowy Avian duo SHXCXCHCXSH toast their upcoming debut LP with a simply amazing mix.

The Avian label has firmly established itself as a potent force in contemporary techno since it was founded by Shifted and Ventress in late 2011 with a singular sonic and visual aesthetic, ensuring a palpable sense of excitement and expectation attached to whichever artist from the small roster of Avian artists stepped forward to deliver the label's first full length album. That the honour has been handed to SHXCXCHCXSH with the soon to drop STRGTHS LP adds a further element of intrigue thanks to the lack of discernible information regarding the allegedly Swedish pair.

The forthcoming album is a logical progression from the material SHXCXCHCXSH have released thus far on Avian, Semantica and Subsist, delving further into the realm of hollowed-out techno across seven cuts brandishing typically scrambled track titles. Having agreed to contribute a mix, SHXCXCHCXSH turned in a thunderous hour long selection that contains moments of sheer sonic devastation (around the 40 minute mark in particular) yet also fits in specially edited post punk curios, demonic chanting and unreleased material, some of which is on the upcoming album.

The mix has been a near constant on the Juno Plus office stereo since we received it; however, attempts to engage SHXCXCHCXSH in further dialogue were met with short shrift with the following cryptic message their sole response:
