Hello, 

  My name is Andrew. I am 23 and enjoy the outdoors. I grew up sailing and went into teaching people of all ages how to sail. I currently attend college where I am working on becoming a Commercial Pilot and fly. I currently hold a private rating and an instrument rating and am working on my commercial rating this semester. BUT the reason I'm here is for the music, just like us all. I grew up in a musical family with my mom and brother playing violin and piano. I started with piano and moved into percussion where I mainly focused on drum set for 9 years with private lessons. From there I transitioned into MANY different instruments, from the xylophone to the marimba, congas, cajons, timbales, to the hawaiian steel drum (pans.)  I do know how to play the ukulele and the guitar (Guitar very little) but am seriously thinking of trading in the guitar for a Saxaphone, its just one of those instruments I've always wanted to learn to play. Especially when it comes to Jazz.  My favorite instrument to play is hands down the vibraphone with four mallets in a jazz setting.
