This song's roots formed ten years ago, when I was in a band called Tooth. Distorted organ and heavy, slow guitars were the order at the time. This riff, which I had written on organ, was, for whatever reason not given the green light, so when the band dissolved, I took it for back for myself, and completed it.

 Back in September of 2010 I met Matt and Matt of Circus of Dead Squirrels in the studio, a group I would later tour with as part of their live band. A few weeks after that meeting I wrote this song.
 Whereas this song doesn't sound like them, it still embraces the rapidly shifting dynamics found in some of their work.

Seriously probably one of the most screwed up songs I have written.
