I first wrote this in Arambol Goa on 2013 i think it was. A call and response thing that was such a strong tribal hook that i could have gone pretty much any way i liked with this tune. 
Then in our first flying orchestra jam with the string players i heard that opening riff in my head and found it synchopated perfectly so the tune ended up this way

A simple no nonsense beat and bass line with beautiful film score strings. 
That hook "feeling better, brighter good" hit me in the summer of 2012 when I was walking through a field in Cornwood and I just started rapping over the top of it. It was a pretty easy tune to write but took a lot of practice to get it tight with the band. 
As soon as i thouht of those backing woahs in the choruses I knew i had to do that with a live choir and advertised amongst friends for "anyone who can sing" to turn up at the studio and help me out. Luckily I had 7 friends show up and we put it together on the day. Was a great vibe in the room with everyone hand clapping and shouting "feeling better feeling brighter, feeling good" over and over again.

For me this is the best production I've been involved in and I do think its a banging tune full of passion. this is the best thing we did in the Flying Orchestra and when we play it live and those strings rip out those double stops it makes my heart boooom.
I wrote this one in my head whilst walking around Glastonbury Festival one day on my own cause Id lost everyone and my phone was dead.
I started to imagine what i would play if I was on one of the big stages with the big sound systems and this tune hit my mind

wrote this tune on an overnight bus journey through Goa and was the first tune I arranged with the flying orchestra and was the major reason why I was so keen on getting strings in the band.
We recorded this in Kris' bedroom one player at a time. Never quite got round to recording organic drums which is a shame but you can hear ted smashing a midi kit as hard as he can
