Momentum - a dark and moody experimental soundscape featuring free voicings by my lovely wife Yucca Rose and an improvised piano solo by the renowned Indonesian pianist M. Ade Irawan. Alexander Church returns to his Configurations Of Self imprint to release four blissful cuts entitled ‘Multiple Voices’.

Alexander Church is an artist from Yorkshire who delves into the realms of emotive, dreamlike sound design without setting himself any creative boundaries. Widely known for his adventurous philosophy when it comes to life and music production, Alexander’s first three releases on his new Configuration Of Self imprint have gone on to pick up support from one of the most respected purveyors of this progressive sound, John Digweed via his Transitions radio show. Alexander Church has installed his open-minded and free-spirited approach into his Configurations Of Self imprint which brings together an array of styles from melodic, progressive house and techno.

‘Multiple Voices’ kicks things off with powerful synth waves floating around alleviating vocals and weaving acid tones before ‘Strokes’ deploys warm pads fused harmoniously with euphoric chord progression and uplifting, spiralling melodes to sooth the senses. Sweeping modulations intergrated with colourful elements and polished drums naturally take the focus in ‘Core Conditions’ while ‘Trust or Mistrust’ makes way for journeying leads, spirited oscillations and compelling atmospheres that provide a stimulating finish to the EP.

U.K. Producer Dan Watts has pedigree, he's been involved in dance music since the late 1980's. A passion for early Electro gave way to New Beat, Acid House and Techno. The desire to share 'the new sound' led to scores of illegal rave parties and numerous DJ residencies. A string of white label releases through the the 90's under various guises eventually led to the Fractal Architect production moniker. Under this name Dan brings to the table his own unique and genre blurring brand of deep, soulful, melodic electronic dance music.

Alan is one of Australia's most respected deep & progressive house DJ's, and we are thrilled to share this special mix, recorded for Celtic Castle's Burning Man Multiverse just recently in 2020.

An artist who follows his intuition as much as his appetite, amháin’s world is a rhythmical atmosphere that entices those with imagination to explore inwards...voyages outwards...while paradoxically staying in the one place.

amháin is a purveyor of aural pleasure at salubrious events both domestically and across the globe. His music manoeuvres have seen him play at Burning Man, Lightning In A Bottle, Rainbow Serpent Festival, Sisyphos in Berlin, Subsonic Music festival, Pattern Bar LA, and hold a residency for the last 7 years for the colourful Return to Rio festival playing alongside acts like Cid Inc, Sasha, Oona Dahl, Lee Burridge, Hoj and Khen.

Mood Exhibit - Momentary

Wow, hadn't realised what a journey SoundCloud would take me on.  After many years of passive listening to music I've dieted on a variety of tastes. My appetite for new sounds is undiminished and SC provides plenty of food. I am not a musician and have only recently started to listen positively to the sounds. My early years began listening to music from ABC, The Beatles, The Carpenters Dire Straits Eagles Fleetwood Mac Genesis Elton John Led Zeppelin Gilbert O'Sullivan Rod Stewart Supertramp Tangerine Dream Vangelis The Who and many more.
If you can't spot a trend in my current likes it may be because it is diverse. I love listening to all my playlists which contain tracks that I like and if you like any of the music you must thank the artists not me.
