His style blends the old with the new, adding new elements to modern electronic music. In 2007, he founded the label [a:rpia:r] with his trusted friends Petre Inspirescu and Raresh. The label’s reputation grew rapidly worldwide and is now a solid platform for artists and music connoisseurs.

Creating worlds never seen before and the constant return to nature as the ultimate designer and source of inspiration are the prosperous obsessions shaping the artistic practice of Silviu Vișan a.k.a Dreamrec. Growing up around his artisan father who was building oversized toys for an amusement park turned into the perfect context to learn about the emotional experience of immersive environments and the secrets of morphing a place into an event. Not to mention it was the starting point for the self-thought wizard to try his hand at DIY magic either bringing joy or conjuring horror. Years later using videofeedback and layers of state-of-the-art software as tools to explore the unusual time&space where computers become genuinely unpredictable and the output becomes a fluid stream of pareidolia, Dreamrec is channeling in international festivals, clubs and art spaces his own visual aesthetic: immersive, mesmerizing and fictional as if visitors / partygoers physically stepped into another dimension. Phillip Rivera nació y creció en la isla de Puerto Rico. Su pasión por la música surgió en sus primeros años de adolescencia. Fascinado con la producción musical, comenzó a hacer ritmos y mezclas hasta que decidió perseguir su sueño y obtener más educación en Full Sail University, donde recibió una Licenciatura en Artes de Grabación. La música de Phillip combina su sabrosa herencia puertorriqueña con música electrónica underground. Sus producciones musicales están abarcadas por sonidos profundos mínimos, percusiones maravillosas y voces espaciales.

En 2017, junto con el fundador Ramses Santos, también conocido como MEHR, Phillip comenzó a construir un sello discográfico electrónico llamado Bacteria Records; Un colectivo de DJ y productores puertorriqueños. Con la ayuda de Bacteria Records, Phillip lanzó su primer EP titulado Dope Perspective, el 15 de julio de 2018. Además, junto con Bacteria Records, Phillip ha producido una variedad de eventos titulados AV Visions, que incorpora música electrónica con su mapeo 3D y diseño gráfico. obra de arte Phillip también es parte de un proyecto llamado Fonrodona. Fonrodona es un colectivo de Live PA que construye un puente entre el spinning y la actuación en vivo. 

Actualmente está haciendo lanzamientos con el sello independiente chileno Agua y Sed y Santurce Recordings, que se emitirán a partir de 2018. Phillip aspira a continuar compartiendo su música y expandiendo su carrera porque cree en su sonido, ética de trabajo, pasión y determinación.

Darlings, this is my first home recorded podcast since the mix for Fuse, quite a few years back. The Loser Records Berlin posse pushed me to record one and I happily surrendered. I played for them at the Wilde Renate at the end of February. It was one of the last gigs before, well, things unfolded.
The atmosphere at the packed club was outstanding and the boys and girls from Loser were lovely company, I felt very well cared for.

I am very happy with the mix. I hope you enjoy it as I do.
