This remastered album "Flight of Light" chronicles the dramatic shift in Inge's world as the idyllic life she knew in Book 1 becomes overshadowed by the growing influence of the Nazi regime. Inge and her siblings are drawn into the activities of the Hitler Youth and League of German Girls, experiencing a strange mix of camaraderie, newfound responsibilities, and subtle indoctrination.

The innocence of childhood games and explorations gives way to a more structured and ideological environment. Inge faces internal conflict as she grapples with the disharmony between the values instilled by her family and the increasingly rigid expectations of the regime.

This remastered album is the musical journey accompanying the harrowing events of Book 3 of "Hinter uns das Land" ("Behind Us The Land"), a poignant novel by Frank Talmon l'Armée. As the war closes in, the Feyerabend family, along with countless others, is forced to make the heart-wrenching decision to flee their beloved home in East Prussia. This collection of 16 tracks captures the emotional turmoil and the perilous journey that unfolds, painting a vivid sonic picture of a family caught in the midst of historical upheaval.

Book 3 plunges the listener into the chaos and fear of the final days of the war in East Prussia. The once-familiar streets of Danzig (now Gdańsk) become a haunting labyrinth of desperation and uncertainty as Inge and her family navigate the treacherous path to the harbor. The music reflects the growing tension, the ever-present threat, and the agonizing choices forced upon those seeking refuge.
