Added low mixed phaser to try and replicate Paul's thick sound.
I didn't realize how fizzy the original is until I went to tone match the isolated track.
Funny how it sounds good in the mix.

Ok, I finally got it.  The key is definitely to remove tha cab even if you are using it to try and get the sound as close as possible before matching.

Scene 1 is for rhythm 
Scene 2 is for kirk's lead. (enables wah, TS, and reverb used on battery solo)

Master of Puppets Tone Matched

If you switch to scene 2 it will enable pitch block and you can fake the RTL harmony.  You will hear the faked one at the end of this sample.

I threw this down using AdamCook's 5150 + Boogie Destructionator patch, the midi drum track and Superior Drummer 2 Metal Machine.

Man this game would scare the crap out of me when playing in the dark.
Hard to believe, compared to the realism in games today.

Preset I created for the Axe FX II.  Scene 1 is normal rhythm, use scene 2 to kick in the intro flange.

Banjo Attempt with Axe-Fx

Ultrares Cab preset created using the new AFD Marshall that was added in v15.03.  The Reverb setting is the Medium Hall setting that I believe Mike Clink may have used on Sweet Child.
