[The Breadcrumb civilization speaks]
 
We, the Breadcrumbs, come together as one to form the base of all your sandwiches, and from the very beginning of our creation we all share an excitement that one day we'll be at the picnic. However some of us fall and landed in dirt, and oh, what a crushing experience it is for the lost ones. 

But it wasn't for one. 

Our ancient Breadcrumb Martyr showed us that there is a purpose to be found in every unexpected fall, and we'll now tell his story in the first person perspective of him:

[The Ancient Martyr Breadcrumb begins his story]

I, am the Ancient Martyr Breadcrumb, and I, have never made it to the picnic I believed I was promised. I, made it to where I served greater purpose, which was initially an unfathomable concept. One day, as the sandwich was being made, and hoisted in the air ready to complete my final phase of development, I had fallen off and hit the dirt. I was completely broken with no hope left. What felt like hours to me was only mere minutes, and soon a carpenter ant came by my side, and picked me up.

[The Ancient Martyr Breadcrumb finishes his story]

This carpenter ant listened intently to my whimpering, asking me questions, but with general disregard to my discontent. He told me of his friend, another ant in the colony, who was severely malnourished, in which he would deliver me to. I objected, believing being consumed as a single crumb, and not with the entire legion of my brothers, goes against my fundamentals. But the more he spoke to me about, the love he had for his friend, I understood that, while this isn't where I thought I would end up, that maybe it was better.

[Outro Piece]

And right in front of my eyes, I saw these Breadcrumbs come together to form single letters, then words, and shortly after, entire sentences. He read the words the Breadcrumbs assembled to me, and they said,

"It's good to see you again, and especially so comfortable."
