To round off 2023, I am delighted to present Irish techno DJ Jon Hussey. One of the most consistently brilliant techno DJs out there.

https://soundcloud.com/jonhussey is hailed as a pioneer of the Irish Techno scene, kick-starting at the infamous Planet Dub night in Columbia Mills, Dublin. He has promoted and resided at many techno clubs throughout Ireland as well as playing in many techno havens across Europe including Amsterdam, London, Bratislava, Berlin, Leeds, Turin and New York.

Jon has played alongside many of techno music’s greats and some of his all-time favourite artists from Biosphere and Plaid to renowned Techno artists like Surgeon, Joey Beltram, Jeff Mills, Steve Bicknell, Sunil Sharpe, Takaaki Itoh, Ancient Methods, Loktibrada, Rumenige, PLAYER, Dave Clarke, Mark Broom, Inigo Kennedy, Neil landstrumm, Reeko, DJ Boss, Bas Mooy, PERC, Hardfloor, Oscar Mulero, Jerome Hill, Paula Temple, Ellen Allien, Exium and Thomas P Heckmann.

Jon has previously released with fellow Techno DJ Sunil Sharpe as part of a joint project under the moniker 'Tricaustic' with “the Caustophobic Pressure EP” on Komisch records, this was well received and supported in the Techno community.

Jon has also had other successful techno releases on RLSD records (Dark Motif), EARWIGGLE records (Eel Behaviour series), Ceili Tracks, Deliquent Delivery and Circuit Structure Records.

I had the pleasure of playing back to back with Jon a few years ago in Galway, Ireland. Hopefully we'll do it again sometime.
