The most recent piece of work I have done for my Music Technology A Level. The aim was to re-create the song as close to the original as possible using MIDI files from logic pro 9. We were also allowed to sample 'Heys' and record live vocals and one line of harmonies.

Emeli Sande - Next To Me - MIDI Re-Creation

This is my submission for Ryan Bruce's #RiffsAndBeards2 competition. I'm not really a metal guitarist but I just thought I'd give it a go and see how I do. No bass in it, tried recording it, just seemed to cloud the lower pull offs on the riff. Recorded on a Gibson Les Paul tuned to Drop D in the key of G minor.

Decided to re-mix and re-master my original version of this cover to try and get better results. Used the same raw tracks, nothing was re-recorded. Jamie Morris on drums, Daniel Adams on bass, Charlotte Tattersall on lead vocals, Callum Litchfield on main backing vocals and flute, Huw Landauer and myself on "Oohs 'n' Aahs" (backing vocals), and myself playing all the guitar parts. 
I did not write this, all credit goes to Kids In Glass Houses and the respective parties.
