Wandering around concrete, industrial ruins. The landscape leaves us speechless. We imagine bodies diving into an ocean of residues. Alone atop a lighthouse, watching and listening to interferences oscillating upon the asphalt, we reflect about our pasts, our futures… Our complex story begins in winter 1974, an intense adventure with M.

HAUTE LÉVITATION MUTÉE.
“Ruines, Béton & Industrie” follows the 30-years-old friendship between Guillaume and Andrew. They met in Grenoble, the French techno city, home of The Hacker, Kittin and Etant Donnés. They also discovered rave culture together. It took almost 20 years before they recorded their first song. Between reality and the digital realm, they started to record, compose, write and exchange what would become this LP around 2020.

Bordeaux-based, Guillaume works as an artist plastician and sound performer. He is known for his project The Garçon and performs under the moniker Po.Go.

Berlin-based, Andrew spends most of his time there and in his studio in Bretagne, France. He is part of the electronic Disco band called Acid Washed and has collaborated with Patti Smith and Jean Michel Jarre.

Andrew and Guillaume incessantly travelled back-and-forth between Berlin and Bordeaux, communicating via email, to create this record. LPS founder Assaf, first encountered Andrew in the local Berlin scene and was astonished by his eclectic variety of electronic music; the type of art that fits the label like a glove. Beyond their sonic adventures, the duo inspired Assaf to rekindle his ‘not so hands-on’ virtues and express visual reverence, creating the album’s artwork.

“N.B.I.C.” – Nanotechnologies – Biotechnologies – Information Technologies – Cognitive Sciences – after their inaugural release “Endless Sunday” in 2022 via Thisbe, Nomenklatür are back on the label with a bang. 

Indeed, N.B.I.C. gathers 3 original tracks that perfectly blend the minimalist electro and dark techno genres that characterized the sound of the French duo from Paris. The EP, that also features the singles “Anywhere Out of The World” and “Feier der Gestirne”, depicts a chilling world, where human kind is heading to a permanent connection to the grid, without any interruption.

Indeed, N.B.I.C. gathers 3 original tracks that perfectly blend the minimalist electro and dark techno genres that characterized the sound of the French duo from Paris. The EP, which also features the singles “Anywhere Out of The World” and “Feier der Gestirne”, depicts a chilling world, where human kind is heading to a permanent connection to the grid, without any interruption. Ever. There is no coming-back from it, no more control on anything…Will we be reaching that stage in the near future?
If you listen closely to the music and are mindful of the feelings and emotions conveyed by it, it might indeed be a plausible scenario. Food for thought, music for thought. The immersion into Nomenklatür´s latest production is real.  
 
The EP is completed by a remix by Bonkers Music´s head Ludviq. The Barcelona-based artist brings in his singular sound by reworking the single “Anywhere Out of The World”, transporting the listener into a more psychedelic and New Beat universe, to the greatest delight of the aficionados of Ludviq´s trademark sound.  
    
“N.B.I.C.“ is due to drop on Friday the 28th of March 2025 on Bandcamp and on all streaming platforms on Thisbe Recordings.

Info: "Mutation" - or Pyrame´s journey to the "Hyperspace of Dimension 7". In his new EP, the versatile artist dug deep into his electro, punk and new wave influences to draw a postmodern scenario for a world mutating ever faster and with which he can barely keep up, he says. Joining the Mutation hyper-spaceship, H.L.M., Oltrefuturo  and Acid Washed, reworked both tracks to ensure a 360 experience for the listener she/he won't be going to forget.
