Beyun is a producer, DJ and runs the label Vault Wax. Born in the Philippines and then moving between many countries throughout childhood, Beyun has difficulty calling one place home. Her DJ origins are rooted in Boston, where she founded the monthly party "Vault" with Bob Diesel—which ran from 2015 to 2017 at Middlesex Lounge. In 2017, Beyun moved to Atlanta to work with DJ Pierre as the A&R director and label manager for Afro Acid, Jack Trax, and Afro Deep until mid-2019. Beyun then founded Vault Wax, which saw its first three releases in 2020 from Black Cadmium, 30303, and herself. Beyun is now based in Rotterdam, Netherlands.

About the mix:
I'm going through a significant change in my life right now, having just moved to the Netherlands from the United States. This mix reflects my current circumstances and state of mind: moments of calm attempting to settle amidst overwhelming chaos.

The 3024 Mentoring Program is based on Martyn's holistic approach to music-making and helps producers of all experience levels to find their own voice and develop it. The program has become a vibrant community of producers, DJ's, radio makers exchanging ideas and creative energy. This spawned the idea of the three-part compilation "It Was Always There".

Berlin based Jessica has been quietly weaving a solid path in music throughout the 2010s. Recently the first release on their new label Lapse Records has just hit the shelves, while they're continuing to oversee the 2nd edition of their Festival Headroom and the London based platform and community project Rhythm Sister, now in its 5th year.

About the mix:
A mix I threw together on a chilly autumn evening in Berlin, thinking fondly back to the last time I was outside of Europe at Magnetic Fields and Delhi. This is channeling some of the same energy from my set at the festival, and made with all the wonderful people there in my thoughts <3

Tied between influences of found sounds and club music, Planète is the Melbourne based project delivering an intricate and detailed substrate of electronic music. Having operated in the Australian scene for a number of years, Planète has cultivated a foundation and signature for evolving storytelling within his music. With a number of years in hiatus, these previous musical notions have progressed but have not been forgotten as they now possess a message for interpretation rather than reflection.

About the Mix:  
The overall outcome was to achieve a slower, moodier mix which exhibited and conveyed a hazy, dusk/dawn transitory state. The mix was approached by combining many of my own tracks, which is something I haven't really considered exploring, however it felt natural and worked well with many tracks I find highly influential.
