Maksim Dark, the Russian producer who burst into people’s consciousness in 2011, drops the first single from his new album 'Insomnia'. Loud Rave encapsulates the album's vibe perfectly - tough, precise techno that hits hard but always has enough space and grace to work the mind as much as the feet. The original is a masterclass in tight programming of tension and release.
The EP features two perfectly pitched remixes from Senso Sounds favourites André Winter and Carlo Ruetz. André Winter’s remix is urgent and tightly wound, with a sick bass line that ultimately breaks into an acidic freakout. Ruetz’s mix is a more stripped down, low slung groove that builds into a fierce, twisted, peak-time burner.

Premiere: André Winter - Man Machine - Jannowitz Records

Neither Nor are a duo that have established themselves as pioneers of the Antalya
techno scene, as well as blowing up internationally thanks to various releases
on the likes of KD RAW, Odd Recordings, Jeton Records, Senso Sounds, and
IAMT.

The pair are now releasing their first EP on Oliver Huntemann’s Senso Sounds, the
label they have a strong affinity with, soundwise.
Scoop makes the case for this right off the bat - a pulsating rhythm with inventive
synth lead and whispered vocals. It’s shared here in its original form and as an
extended version.
Frequency is a track the duo originally produced in 2022, but revisited recently with
fresh ears and new production skills. As the guys say, “the track now embodies
our refined production style, combining dance floor energy with intricate sound
design.”

We have been playing this track out ourselves for quite a few months and always getting great reactions and people asking the name of it..
We give it out also to a few big names one notably who is supporting is ADAM BEYER..
As this track Acapella is Soo big and will be very complicated to clear copyright wise we have decided to give it away as a free download to our fans and supporters as a gesture to say thank-you...

Enrico Sangiuliano came up through illegal raves and is now a top DJ who plays all over the world and has his music played by the likes of Adam Beyer and Sven Vath. He has had the longest ever running techno number one on Beatport (his remix of ‘Can You Hear Me’ for DJ Boris on Alleanza) and is one of the best selling artists on the site at any one time. His music comes on Cocoon and Drumcode amongst others, and is powerful, direct stuff for the dance floor.

Written entirely in Italy, “X-Pollination (or cross-pollination) is fundamentally the key factor of growth, consciousness and life,” says the artist. “It’s the way I connect with people, share my passion, fly from one place to another and put many influences and elements into my music.”

The title track is eight minutes of slow burning but hypnotic techno funk with rolling rubber drums and nervy pads. Frazzled synths add post apocalyptic vibes to this main room anthem and many well crafted peaks and troughs along the way help make it even more standout. It is a real techno classic in the making.

Mark Reeve is the UK star who remixes. He has a long history with techno that goes back to the rave scene. Since then his education has taken in trips to techno mecca The Omen, has resulted in music on Cocoon and collabs with Pig & Dan. He has also released on Drumcode and has a big rolling sound that fills the world’s finest clubs and warehouses with his unique grooves. His take on the original is more energetic, with searing synths, cantering kicks and a dark energy that makes you pump your fist and stomp the floor. It is full of drama and is perfect balanced from start to finish.

Julian Jeweil returns with a generous five-track EP continuing his stellar 2017. 

Following on from his ‘Rolling’ EP that dropped in January and featured the outstanding ‘Blue’, an early contender for one of the strongest tracks of the year, Julian Jeweil drops the crisp intergalactic techno trip ‘Space’

The EP begins in stunning fashion with title track ‘Space’, driven by stirring vocal effects that build up tremendously, later giving way to a punchy acid-laced climax. ‘South’ follows, a low-end tour de force. ‘Answer’ is already familiar to fans after it featured on DCR368 Live from Loveland and the track is a rousing peak-time weapon propelled by subterranean stabs. ‘Encke’ is deliciously mind-bending, led by heavy bass and distorted effects, before ‘Module’ follows providing a groovier, but no less powerful contrast.
