She is known for releases on labels like ESP Institute, WARNING, or Tresor. She is part of bands like Init. She played them all, those clubs, that matter, and those that matter more. Live. Alone. When I received the proposal to participate in the 5th edition of Temple, during the after-hours slot called Baptistery, I immediately knew I had the opportunity to do something completely different from what I'm used to. So, without thinking too much, I dove into my most personal records, trying to select tracks that have influenced me over the years.

You don’t always get the chance to showcase a more intimate side during a dance set, so I’m incredibly grateful to Josephine and Camu for the opportunity to put the finishing touch on such a special day as we experienced at Temple Chapter #5. And, of course, many thanks to the brave souls who stayed until the very end. XO

Soliloqui / Concerti Per Cicale  (Soliloquies / Concerts For Cicadas) is a sound collage composed of environmental recordings, experiments with musical instruments and natural objects, excerpts from live performances, personal compositions and those of related artists that I have collected in recent months during my trips to Umbria. A land that has always evoked a complex feeling in me, a point in the intersection between the intimacy of being and the primitive nature of place.

In this microcosm are the tangle of thoughts that emerged from the hours spent in the car, the silent walks through the alleys of small and large towns, the sea of cicadas that inhabit its trees to the voices, more and less defined, of the people who dwell there.

Umbria is a journey, not a destination. And in the journey the boundary between looking and listening becomes intangible, revealing a path where what is voluntarily man-made dissolves into natural entropy.
