Amniote Editions teams up with Mala Junta to release “The Collective Capsule” in celebration of 5th anniversary of Berlin’s favourite queer event.

“The Collective Capsule” is a celebration and tribute to the unique Mala Junta and it’s impact on Berlin’s vibrant contemporary queer scene as well as a reflection of the core principles of these two collectives, which serve as a mirror for the society we want to push forward.

The package features a 12″ vinyl record composed of 4 tracks from Mala Junta’s residents Hyperaktivist, Yazzus, DJ Tool, and D.Dan, as well as two compilations featuring Roza Terenzi, Jensen Interceptor, Mohajer, Peachlyfe, Francois X, Narciss to name a few..

The Collective Capsule Compilation Vol. 2 emerges on Amniote Editions on 15th September.

Discoteca ends its first circle with a third mind blowing release from highly psychedelic mixologist KayTV. Under its green atmos, Shudder Bubble is an experimental clubbing tek tunnel. The drums and the bass as the guardian of your soul, Wave Speech twist all it needs to wobble a floor. Total leg slackener oo-koo-hé & Fancy Shamancy would make any nice thing an instant demon. Thanks to Solar Suite, the end of the tunnel gets closer as you take a glimpse of light with a neoprog sunrise dancefloor killer.

Following their contribution to the 2022 International Women’s Day compilation, and a co-production credit on “Dreaming is Essential” by Byron Yeates, Eoin DJ drops their first release on Radiant Records, Total Body. The 4-track EP is replete with mind-bending, lustrous tracks waiting to be spun out to sweatbox dancefloors.

On the B side, “Ultra Soft” lifts off with a firm kick and a rolling 3-note bassline. Despite the title, the track hits harder than “Total Body” and sings with Eoin DJ signatures: swirling funnels of processed vocals, rich, ear-itching textures, stripped back percussion and rave-ready samples are sprinkled with 303s, to create a track that sits comfortably with both classic trance and techno and contemporary “Progressive” dance music.

Vinyl wizard & sweetest being @phpho for number #153. Laurent is half of Berlin based dj duo @digabuna, his dj partner also co-running  the amazing @coppiberlin studio with him.

Coppi is a weekly community session based in a warehouse location in the East of Berlin. The project strives to create spaces and strengthen the community exchange of non-commercial underground music culture.

Born in Luxembourg with Taiwanese roots, and now based in Berlin, phpho has an incredibly diverse range of musical knowledge & taste, and classy technical skills behind the turntables. This mix is a beautiful smooth rolling blend of his musical influences.
