ANDREW JOHN LAFLECHE (born Andrew John Bradford: 24 June 1986) is the award-winning poet and novelist from St. Catharines, Ontario. He served under Operation Enduring Freedom during the Afghanistan War. Following his duty as an infantry soldier in the Canadian Armed Forces, Lafleche received an M.A. in Creative and Critical Writing from the University of Gloucestershire.

The textbook renaissance man, Andrew is a licensed sailor, scuba diver, yoga instructor, hunter, trapper, locksmith, and is currently pursuing his private pilot’s license. He is certified with the Ontario Fire Marshal as a NFPA 1002 Pumping Apparatus Driver Operator and with the Canadian Red Cross as a First Responder. He also holds marine engineer papers for his time aboard the 110-ft M/V Farley Mowat in the Sea of Cortez, Mexico. Andrew enjoys oil painting, riding a Harley Davidson, and the shadow work of a theatre stagehand. 

He lives nomadically.
