So a few of my buddies and I were sitting around and I said to them "I want to write a song that sounds like this:" and began playing the repeated ostinato in the bass. Then one day, I decided to put a few notes to it. This is the result, and I figured it'd be a good start on SoundCloud.

Carnival Stroll

I've always been super inspired by ragtime, particularly Scott Joplin and his works. So I thought I'd write my own. This is a rag inspired by the color blue, and also my first one.

Blue Rag

I originally wrote this piece for a chorus composition project. It's my first ballad, and one of the first songs I actually completed. It was inspired by all the great times we had when we were younger and things were a bit simpler.

The Good ol' Days

This was inspired by my love for jazz, and all the 9, 11, and 13 chords that go along with it.

This song is inspired by my love for crazy jazz chords.

Cobalt

This song is based on my love for Latin-style and Mambo themed music. Inspired heavily by Jazz and Mambo artists.

This one popped into my head based off of the good old V7-I progression. Usually don't write this kind of music, but this seemed promising.

I play piano, and love music theory, so I may occasionally upload stuff I write. I'm a Music geek. I like a little bit of all genres, but my favorites are house and jazz. I love marching band, playing the trombone and singing.
