Willie was a farm boy who lived down Cotton Patch

Willie learned real fast just to stay out of his way

Hallowed eyed he was looking for a fight

Willie left for Memphis on the day he turned 16

As a songwriter, I've been blessed to work with some of the best new and upcoming artists in Nashville, TN. I'm honored to have collaborated with talented artists such as Jordan Davis, Drew Baldridge, Hunter Phelps, Julia Cole, Jameson Rodgers, Scott Moffatt, Tenille Townes, Ross Lipsey, James Barker, Tim Hicks, Jessica Mitchell, Sarah Turner, and many others.  In 2018 I achieved one of my major songwriting goals by scoring a major cut with Columbia Nashville recording artist Jameson Rodgers with "Ain't Really Over" and in 2019 a Julia Cole cut with "Miss Love".  I've had many Nashville based artists record my songs and I'm grateful for each and every one!

I love writing songs and feel fortunate to spend time in Nashville becoming a better writer. This has been a dream come true and I'm so lucky to have a supportive wife and kids who think I'm almost cool.
