Rudecat

A dangerously infectious use of hypnotic chopped vocals teamed with mean and moody lowend rumbles full of attitude create a heavy jungle/dnb banger meant for the big sound systems. This one is club ready and bound to get you moving. 

Unlike most of the music that is released today, each tune in Rudecat is recorded like a live performance making the journey even more incredible and rewarding. 

Sickrone populates this EP with his signature modular synth breaks and a plethora of old school jungle samples that he finds himself socinally  attracted to. 
 
A little fun fact; while recording one of the best takes for a track on the EP, Sickarone’s cat jumped on his MPC inspiring him to name his whole EP and that track “Rudecat”.

About Sickarone

Knob twister and button masher from Turin, in love with his worn out mpc 1000, his sound range from dirty, unquantized lo-fi beats to razor sharp jungle and footwork. He's not using computers in his productions, which usually are just recordings made straight out of the mixer master, fed by samplers, drum machines and a modular synth.

Andrew Van Hassel is a music producer from East Vancouver, Canada. His inspiration lies in the realm of experimental music and production quality. 

Starting out electronic music as a live performer, he has now directed his focus on production and sound design with experience in synthesis and song writing. He is an avid part of the Vancouver electronic music community and has enjoyed performing at many live events in the city, the Basscoast festival in Merrit, BC, and other events throughout the provinces.
 
The journey is vast and intoxicating as AVH continues to expand and push himself past the limits of sound and the emotion that music brings. He finds purpose in being a part of the evolving melodies of life that inevitably effect us all.

Deep within his curse, there is solitude.
